The First Annual Wrigley Ski Days took place from January 26
to 28, 2005. Schools from Kakisa and Nahanni Butte brought students
to enjoy the wonderful skiing that happens in Wrigley.
During the times that the students are inside warming up, they
had the opportunity to participate in the following activities:
- Dreamcatcher making with Charlotte Canadien and Shirley Deneyoua
- Drumming and Hand Games with Tim Lennie
- Knitting with Sarah Lennie
- Fiddling with Stella Pellissey
- Sketching with Anyes Dimsdale
- Cooking with Rose Moses
- Drama with Robert Jacques
- Computer Deconstruction and Construction with Richard Garner
- Square Dancing and Jigging with Charlie and Florence Hardisty
- Parks Canada Presentation with Sophie Borcoman
- Ski waxing with Marv Lizotte and Wayne Ingarfield
We were about 60 people enjoying our meals together as well
as each other's company.
