In June 2005 we traveled to Hay River for the Northwest Territories Track and Field Championships. Then we went on to Edmonton for 6 more nights. Our itinerary had us leaving June 1 at 7:00 am and returning on June 9 at about 9 pm. We did leave at 7:10 am on June 1 but our return was at midnight on June 9. We were 24 students and 12 adults traveling from Wrigley and we were joined by 3 students and 2 adults from Trout Lake for the Edmonton portion of the trip.
Everyone had a wonderful time at all of our stops. Swimming was very popular at Hay River, Edmonton Travelodge and at the Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall. We also enjoyed visiting the Valley Zoo. Another highlight was Galaxyland at the West Edmonton Mall. We are already looking forward to June 2006 and our next trip. Scroll down for pictures:
